Sarah started dancing at the age of four, training in Jazz, Tap, Classical Ballet and Calisthenics.  She later trained in Singing, Drama and Musical Theatre.  Having performed in musicals such as Annie, Jesus Christ Super Star, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, The Wizard of Oz and Grease.  Sarah has also graced the small screen in numerous commercials such as Hungry Jacks, Yoplait, ANZ to name a few.  Not to mention, a few Australian movies and mini series. 

 

Miss Sarah obtained her Teaching Diplomas through the Teachers of Australian Academy of Dancing, receiving Honours for Jazz, Tap and Classical Ballet, and obtained  her Red Sash, Blue Sash and Pink Sash awards, the highest awards in the TAAD.  Miss Sarah is an Academy Director and Examiner.  She holds a Level 2 First Aid Certificate, a Working with Children Check, is a member of the Dance Arts Alliance and the TAAD, and is a certified Keep Kids Safe in Dance school.

 

After teaching at multiple dance schools across Melbourne, Sarah opened her own school in 2006.  She loves sharing her passion with the kids, and loves mentoring older students to follow their own dance dreams.

 

Miss Sarah teaches students from all over the Knox, Maroondah and Hills areas. Students come from The Basin, Boronia, Bayswater, Croydon, Ringwood, Wantirna, Ferntree Gully, Lysterfield, Ferny Creek, Upwey and beyond!  With well over 20 years teaching experience, Sarah prides herself on providing a fun and caring environment for her students to learn in.
